Amazing Grace Artworks

Mouth-paintings by Nancy Hall

Hello, my name is Nancy Hall and I am 50 years old, the mother of five amazing children and one handsome grandson. On May 21, 2000 My husband and I were in a tragic motorcycle accident resulting in me becoming a full quadriplegic. Sadly, after the accident I divorced and got custody of my children. In September of 2002, I bought my own beautiful house in the village of East Aurora, New York. With the help of caregivers, family and friends, I became very independent and also started to paint.

My daughter was only five years old when the accident happened still not knowing how to write very well. She often needed help with her cursive writing and the other children needed help with their homework as well. So out of desperation and frustration, I began to put a pen or pencil in my mouth to help with homework and sign my name. The children would often paint or color pictures and I wanted to join in on the fun! One of my older sons suggested I start to paint my own pictures. So we devised a few different ways to paint pictures. At first they were absolutely awful but as time went on I became better and better at painting.

I applied to be in the MFPA and was accepted as a student in 2011. My art work has evolved with much improvement through various teachers and education. Now all my work goes to MFPA which can be purchased through them ( Also, I'm a member of the Roycroft Arts and Craftsman Guild.  Check us out at!

Also check out my instagram where you can see me paint, @n.hallmouthpainter or my Facebook: Nancy Hall

All artwork prior to 2011 is for sale and has been duplicated for note cards, magnets, and prints. All paintings after 2011 are original and for sale!

WOW! My children are almost all grown up now. My two oldest sons are successful carpenters and construction workers. They built me my amazing art studio/gallery that I love so much. My two middle sons are graduates from the University of Buffalo with great degrees. My beautiful daughter is now a Registered Nurse and happily married to an amazing man! I now have the most handsome grandson. All are working and striving for excellence. They all continue to give me love and support.

I want to acknowledge my family, my staff and the community for all their help because I cannot be who I am without them.

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but how we react.....

It’s not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.

Most people that are close to me know that one of my favorite bible verses is—Romans 5:3- "Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

King David was a man after God’s heart. He knew when he needed to repent, and he knew when he needed to just simply praise the Lord and most importantly he praised and trusted him no matter what.

Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self. Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine."
